Carterville, Illinois is located on Route 13 between Marion and Carbondale. Its close proximity to these growing communities allows for a small town atmosphere with larger city conveniences. Carterville is a wonderful place to live and work!
Carterville is known throughout the area for its high academic standards as well. The school district has completed the construction of our new elementary school, with plans underway for the construction of a new high school! This, along with the location of one of the nations top junior colleges, John A Logan College, makes Carterville the perfect place for families. A four-year University, Southern Illinois University, is also conveniently located approximately 10 miles west of Carterville.
