Our Chamber Business Spotlight of the Week is Withers Broadcasting.

Withers Broadcasting is an integrated media company with 31 radio stations and numerous digital properties with 6 stations in Marion-Carbondale and 16 others with studios in southern Illinois.

 The past year has seen many changes for the better in the Marion-Carbondale market. With format new to the market on 92.7, Rock 105 TAO back home on 105.1 FM, and multiple additions to the air staff, Withers Broadcasting has been hard at work. 

My Country 107.3 W3D has been a long-time fixture on radio presets featuring radio veterans Kevin Casey in the morning and Cole Trane in the afternoons. Rock 105 TAO continues to be the active rock leader in the market thanks to Kritter and company. 

Southern Illinois’ Original Classic Hits, Q106, has a new morning show as Todd Bryant hosts the Wake Up Zone! Paired with the Afternoon Delight with Ashley, Q106 continues to provide the soundtrack of generations on 106.3 FM.  US 977 is still the market leader for Classic Country playing your favorite hits that are a little longer in the tooth. 

95.5 the Fan is your home for the Chicago Cubs Baseball and has added a new program on Saturday mornings, 618 Fandemonium featuring Caleb Martin and Brady Haupt! 

The newcomer to the market is Alt 2K 92.7. Alt 2K is a lighter alternative format featuring the best Alt hits from the 2000s. It is Alternative for the 618 and beyond! You can see their air staff below—Murph, Stella, and Sparky!
